I just pulled the trigger on the purchase of a Paki Enfield and now I am in the market for some 303. Looks like the surplus rounds are hit and miss so I decided to look for commercial rounds. Where can I get the best deal on commercial 303?

It may be the right time to start reloading...

My gunstore has Pakastani 303 for $9/32 rounds.
I just clean my rifle good when I'm done.

The Paki surplus at Samco is pretty good, and as cheap as can be expected. Avoid the British and other 40's click-bang stuff if possible.

I've shot about 100 rounds of the newer Paki, and not one dud or slow-fire yet. YMMV

I just ordered 120 wolf 174 fmj and 20 rds of Hot shot 180 sp. I will start with this and if I enjoy the enfield alot I will reload for it. I may place an order with samco to try it out. What is bad now and days is that once you try out the ammo andlike it you better be quick and order a lot more before it runs out.

Do you know what type powder is being used in the paki ammo?

Whatever it is, it's pretty clean.
I put 32 one week then another 32 the next week then cleaned it.
It wasn't dirty at all.
But I believe the primers are corrosive.
