Let us know if and when you get them. That is a great deal. That is only about 7 dollars more per mag over the plastic lipped and well worth it IMO since I just use my 10/22 as a bullet hose anyways

Thanks for the info! I don't have any of these steel lipped BC's but have a dozen or so of the 25's still NIW, will have to get the steel lips now. I thought a while back I'd get a few of the 10 round steel lipped BC's and just cut off the top portion of the steel lips and somehow glue on to the old standard BC when the plastic lips had worn out...but don't have to worry about that now!

That seems to be a pretty good price for steel lips, I'll have to give them a call in the morning and order a dozen

Just wanted to let everyone know Copes Distributing just added Ramline 25 round magazines to their 10/22 magazine page. They will start shipping in 3 weeks, they are taking order.

Not sure how the quality could be any better than the Butler creek. The Ramline are also more expensive at $21.99 each.

I thought the Ramline mags were 30 round and not 25 originally?

Ram line made 30 and 50 round mags.

My experience (in 10/22s & TEC-22s) has been that the Ram-Lines feed fine until the feed lips start to chip & crack (all too soon in "bullet-hose" mode) at which point they aren't really good for anything. Same thing with the BC Hot Lips mags, although they seemed to last a lot longer than the Ram-Lines. I've never worn out the feed lips on a BC Steel Lip mag, and they feed as reliably as the others - in this brave, new, post-sunset world, Steel Lips will be all I will be buying. YMMV.

ETA: FWIW, I've always used the Ram-Line loader to load all three varieties.
