why do you want a frangible round?  I am not aware of any in production.  is it an overpenetration issue?  ricochet issue?

houses are kinda close. im not really worried about overpenetration, maybe a ricochet. i just dont want it hitting some one elses house. if that ever happend. what about a lighter round, or hollow point?

Aguila Super Colibris don't have a lot of penetration and are real quiet, but YMMV.  Don't expect to do much damage with them though.

I would use 22 shorts. Low noise level and less penetration. That's my 2cents.

The SC's are actually quieter than that even.  They use nothing but priming mix.  20gr conical bullet at (uhh.. I think) 750fps in a LR case.  They feed well in my savage boltgun.

Wear glasses, they can and do riccochet.

Use Aguila SSS. It's got a 60gr. solid projectile that tears h#ll out of a yellow pages phone book at 20/ 30 yds.Down side is they are not real accurate if you got to go furthur. Brick's run around $30.

This is as close to a frangible .22 that I can think of.
