Got a few AR's and an easy choice for a bolt gun would be .223.  But considering a .204.  Maybe used on ground hogs, maybe coyotes, and something my teenagers can shoot.
Any ideas?

Always like a few guns in different calibers so any other considerations? 22-250? etc.

How about a .17HMR.  Lots of fun to shoot, very accurate and ammo is fairly inexpensive.

Agree that the 17 HMR is a hoot.

I looked at the 204, but the limited bullet and ammo selection turned me off.  223 is second only to 30-06 in that regard.

Just check out the price of ammo of each. Anything centerfire < .30 cal.

Also, consider recoil. Recoil anticipation will produce poor/missed shots.

Cabelas is advertising bulk ammo...
