I have a model 1898 30-40 krag that was made in 1901. The Serial number is 335xxx. The rifle is in very good condidtion for its age, no rust. The only thing is that it originally had the fill length stock but it was cut or is missing and is now a carbine length. Behind the trigger is P type symol. On the trasit home the stock craked but I had it repaired by a gunsmith, can barely tell its there. Here is a pic and I am wondering what the value is.

Bubba'd stock really kills the value but it looks restorable with repro stock. I'd say $ 300 ish as-is.

Yeah, seeing the Krag almost makes "antique" status.
I wish they would just redue it so the law read any fire arm over 100years old is an "Antique"
