Ok, some of you may know that I SHOULD usually know this off the top of my head, but Im too lazy to research it myself...

I have a Benelli M1 Super-90 semiauto with the pistol grip and 18" barrel. Not a pre-ban.

Can I FINALLY put the 10-shot extension on to it and keep the pistol grip?

I probably know the answer, but I'll let you guys have fun with the question.

My guess is "No" because it constitutes a destructive device, which is not under the AWB.

Any thoughts?

Sure, perfectly legal now. The only thing you cannot do is add a folding or telescoping stock to your Benelli. Even if someone made a Benelli folding stock, 922r still applies to imported guns and adding such a stock would be a violation by creating a firearm that is not importable in that configuration.

Wait, what the heck is a ten shot extention,
Does that go out past the barrel?

Where can I get one?

scroll down to the M1 Practical. 26" barrel, 9 round tube.
The 9 shot one would probably extend about 6 - 8 inches ahead of the barrel. I don't know how safe that is, but it doesn't make sense to have a barrel any shorter then the tube.

As stevenb said, The 5 shot extension would go past the barrel, but the 4 shot extension would be flush. That would give your 8 rounds total. I have a 4 shot on the way from benelli for my M1.
