I went with a 11.5" as it seemed to be the best overall compromise between compactness and effectiveness. Like Hardshell I too will be running this gun suppressed with a Battlecomp 2.0 and a Gemtech Halo.

I have two 10.5s and plan to build a couple 7.5s.
Just like the looks better.
Will be suppressing the 10.5s, if it beats the cans up so be it. (As long as the cans are rated to 10.5)

Although I will also be building some 12.5 too......

Personally I went with a 10.5 for my first gun. Been running a halo off it myself. In the future I plan on building a 11.5 and at some point a 12.5 kino. I think my next ar is going to be another 10.5 though. I really like the look of the 10.5 with moe handguards and a ctr stock. Run that with a aimpoint micro. As of now I have one with a kac rail with a sopmod. Great setup.

The Spike's Tactical 10.5" below runs suppressed 99.9% of the time, and from what I can see there has been little-to-no effect on the Gemtech G5. It's been a flawless performer.

The 10.3" below started as a 14.5" upper that was cut (with gas port modification) by Adco. It has also been a flawless performer, and the only reason I purchased the 10.5" upper above was due to the fact that the Gemtech G5 calls for a minimum of 10.5". It's my back-up SBR.

I am running a 12" barrel, heavy buffer and a permanently attached suppressor. Runs great.
