Since I haven't seen this posted yet...

Well I placed an order for 1, at $395 they aint cheap.
But my guess some high cap restrictions will be coming again thanks to some dumb ass who likes shooting up a school.
I went to the products (m4/m16 556 section) and they were sitting right on top, with the new product tag.

And they ship to CA? Don't see the point of a beta on a M1A/M14 either.

Hehehe. Fewer and fewer companies are giving that options, due to fraud and crap.
ETA: How many stock mags could you buy for the price of that drum? Don't own a M1A/M14, so not up on prices.

I have placed an order for one of the Beta Co. 100 rounders for the M14.

I agree, five CMI M14 magazines will serve you much better for a lot cheaper price. I bought this drum magazine for my full auto M1A. I may add it to Different's M14A1 Modernization Project after some testing and evaluation.

I'm really perplexed. On the one hand I know this makes no economic sense. I don't have a full auto. My other Beta-C's don't work worth a crap, This drum has got to wait a ton, etc. etc. etc.

But if I don't buy it I will regret it once the ban comes!

How the F$$$ heavy is this mag when it is full? What 20 #???? I will take 5 CMI mags anyday!
Link Posted: 4/18/2007 6:13:35 PM EDT
I can get 10 CMI mags from ArmaLite for about $250. That's 200 rounds of capacity for less money and that thing fully loaded has got to be 20 pounds or so. Sheesh.

No thanks.

I was wrong about the weight, but you still double the weight of your rifle when you attach this monstrosity. Damn!

I'm only interested if it fits an AR-10.

I would imagine it would not lock in as it won't have the cut out for the mag release.

I have heard of folks cutting M14 mags for that whole, but I don't have the guts.

I believe they are making an optional tower for AR-10 that is not quite available yet.

It will have different feed towers for M14/FAL/G3/AR10.

My M1A already weighs 13 lbs. in a SAGE stock....I don`t need another 10!
