I've got a P229 in .40 that's my fav pistole'.

I'm thinking of getting one of the polymer frame Sigs to use as a carry gun.

Do the polymer frame Sigs (esp. the .40 cal) have significantly more recoil than the metal frames???

(BTW - I've got a HK USPC40 for sale or trade )

Any comments on the polymer Sigs????

No. At least not to me. Felt the same as my P229 did. I had a SP2340 and got rid of it. Miss it terribly. Currently saving to re-purchase one. Very comfortable to carry to me. Has a mine had a very nice trigger on it. Nothing but good things to say here.

A rose by any other name...

is a weed.

The polymer SIG was a lame attempt at competative pricing in the police market.

What a turd!

I had a 2340, nice gun, hated changing the grips though. I sold it because I already had a 226 and a 229 and wanted to add my first 1911.

Had one (SP 2340), can't say anything bad about it other than the finish coming off a certain part (decocker) pretty quickly for some reason. It was a solid reliable gun but I got rid of it in my quest for more highend 1911's and it was the only .40 I had and wanted to get out of that caliber.
