I finally got my woodless dane in shooting condition.

A little closer.

I went to the range today to function test and sight in this one. I was pleasantly surprised that I got a six inch group and if I had not pulled the one on the right it would have been close to four. Someone who is a better shot than I am should be able to get close to three inch groups.

I pulled the PB marked hammer and trigger guard and swapped them with USGI from my VAR barreled Dane SG. I installed a birch front HG and a beech rear that I had laying around. I also ordered 3 stocks w/ metal from Armscorp and one was a USGI beech with a serif circle P and a half inch DAS. When the next gunshow rolls around I will try and find HGs that match a little better. I have a total of $335 in it.

It looks very nice.

so when you get a woodless Garand, you get everything except the stock and stock metal?

Nice looking rifle.

I just seen rack grades on thier website for the woodless rifles.

Do they have the woodless Garands in different grades or just in the rack grade?

That is the only woodless option they have. They are actually the Dane returns. Many of them have Italian replacement parts on them.
