Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - which handgaurds?

Hope this is in an acceptable forum. I am trying to decide on a railed handgaurd for my Model 1 16" A3 upper. I am thinking the Samson CX-4 rail handgaurd the sells for $310 or the Midwest Industries Two piece extended free float that sells for $175.
Any thoughts or other suggestions that fall into the same (or close) ballpark?
