GG&G has two flip up sights available - the MAD and the A2. What do you think of them?

I am considering the BUIS question myself, and realize that the ARMS unit is said to be most favored by far -- but I don't have a guess as to why. Would someone mind posting what is better about the ARMS vs. GG&G's similar unit and others? Maybe it's favored under battle or 'working' conditions, but has no advantage for target irons/plinking? Thanks for whatever more you might offer.

Troy, do you need a taller front sight post for the ARMS #40? I`m bent on using a Trijicon luminated front post, but it is of standart height.

The slight variation in front sight base height is more pronounced on carbines, though.
