I'm curious about this too, as I will be looking for one in the near future. The local cop shop here has a few different models, but I'm definitely open to alternatives. |

I don't have a whole lot of experience with them, but when I start shopping for one I'm grabbing the cheapest one that still mounts securely. They appear to range all over the place in price, from $20-$60 and up.

Advanced Armament $20 for the Swiss style H&K MP5 type grip plus $20 for the rail mount which you bolt on the Handguard. Solid. Inexpensive. Good try-out accessory.

I've tried them all except for the Dieter unit. After having the GG&G unit come loose during CQB drills, I decided on the Tango Down Vertical Grip. By far the most solid mounting system of the VG's I tried.
IMHO, the Tango Down unit is far superior to the rest i've tried. YMMV HS1 |
