Forgive my ignorance, but does it really matter that much? On both of my sbr'd lowers I put multi in for the caliber 10.5 for the barrel length and 24 OAL. But I run all kinds of different uppers on both. As it was explained to me, changing an upper is not permanent so you can run any kind of upper on your sbr'd lower and still be legal.
