1/7 or 1/9?

I'd get 1/9.

There more available, usually cheaper, and can shoot all but the heaviest grain bullets.

In any case, get chrome lined.

1/9 is easier to find... If you plink, that should work just fine.

A chrome lined one for sure. As for twist rates, if you plan on shooting just wolf then 1 in 9 is fine, if you ever want to get heavier bullets like a 75 grn or over then I would reccomend a 1 in 7.

Either will work fine with Wolf.

The 1/7 isn't really neccesary unless you use the real heavy weight bullets, like 69 grains and up. I don't think Wolf makes ammo with such heavy bullets. So buy whichever barrel you can find first for the best price.

Whatever you get, make sure its chrome lined... Easier to clean.

You might also want to check out a stainless barrel in 1 in 8, that would handle everything you need right there and would look damn sexy too.

If all I intended to use was Wolf poly I wouldn't fret much about twist.  1:12 is fast enough for Wolf 55s and 62s.

A bushmaster 1/9.

They are 4150 steel, chrome lined & they have been known to have slightly larger than average gas ports.

Get a quick-change barrel, like the MGI... that way, when one of the steel cases gets stuck in the chamber, you will be able to get back in the fight sooner.

I've got two 1in9 barrels like this and they shoot Wolf just fine and clean up easy.
