I shot almost 500 rounds today for the first time in my AR
what is out there that is comparable to this ammo...
I had a few rounds of S&B and Malaysian but they just didnt quite have that
pop that the 193 had.
Im going by how it felt, the fireball and the way some fruit exploded...not too scientific though.
I also need a good recommendation for a hollowpoint with that same pop for better exploding fruits and water jugs

ALL .223 marked ammo is downloaded. Your choices are XM193, IMI M193, Q3131A, South African Surplus

The Swiss 62 grain Nato also has the Military pop and acurate as hell too. Just bought a case of Q3131.

The Malaysian is M193 spec, but remember, it's old surplus - the Fed XM193 is current production. Q3131 and Q3131A is as good as the XM193. ~ s0ulzer0

so I supposed the Fed XM193 and winchester qm3131a is the good stuff hot ammo with that pop? with all the choices out there its tough to make a decision as to what to purchase but I suppose I will stick with the Fed XM193 or QM3131A. and maybe get some Wolf for blasting away the soda cans and fruits last question is I shot a super accurate varminter this weekend Bushmaster 24" varminter both versions fluted and SS barels I now want to get one what is a good recommended highly accurate ammo for that purpose not that Im a great shot but for someone who is fairly new I was grouping 10 shots in a 3-4 inch group at 100 yards and hitting soda cans laid on their side to hit the tops also
