I am looking for a mount that will allow me to mount a micro reddot above a scope. I want the one that mounts to the scope similar to a scope ring turned upside down with a weaver mount/picatiny mount attached to it.

Victor (Board dealer here) at Tactical Night Vision has something that matches your exact description. LaRues micro red-dot option for an existing scope, though sweet, goes with their proprietary mounts.

I also checked into getting the mounts from Larue. You cannot get the red dot mount as part of the regular scope mount. You have to order them seperately.

I have a mini 4x28 scope. Would it be ok to use one high end scope ring to hold the scope and one to mount a mini reddot. Who makes a ring that would be strong enough that would also hold zero.
