What kind of quality are the VIS uppers?

Everything I've read about the VIS is good but I decided to go with the Mega Monolithic on my last build.   The VIS is actually two components bonded together (polylithic) while the Mega is a true monolithic.  The Mega is also a few bucks cheaper.
