ive been screwing with this thing all morning so i could test it at the range today.  its an rra 2 stage trigger and i cant get the front push pin all the way through the lower. the thing is like 2mm towards the rear of the lower than it should be.  I have like 3mm left to drive this thing across the lower.  any tips for fixing this up

The hammer spring is strong and tries to push the hammer toward the rear.  With the pin in only one side it tends to 'cock' the hammer to one side.  You need to twist the hammer back to get the end of the pin to align with the far side hole.  

It's easier with the safety out.  The hammer needs to be cocked to get the safety back in.

Make sure the safety is in the off/fire position. I just went through this myself. Don't know why but as soon as I flipped the switch it moved into position.
