Hi wozzy,
My factory bushy came with a trigger that felt like a light switch. I gave it 500 rounds to settle in & had no improvement. I bought a new trigger, hammer & disconnecter from del-ton it made a huge difference & now I'm real happy with it.

I know you said that you don't want to replace any parts,
But if you replace the springs in your fire control group, with a JP Enterprizes reduced power spring set ($10), you can take a few pounds off your trigger pull.

I put this set in one of my Bushmaster a few years ago and it took about 3.5 pounds off the trigger pull, and I have had no problems.
