Lots of really good information in AR15.com library which can be found on the "homepage" lower left menu area.......

IIRC there are CAD files and such,

go to cncguns.com forum, sign up and look in the ar15 section, the first stickied thread has the technical drawings, upper and lower.  i can't verify the accruracy as i have no need to, but it is there if you need it.  also, on the cncguns.com download page, there is a a2 and a3 upper iges file that the guy who runs cncguns.com made his own uppers from and they worked fine from what i have read.  so this will give you the technical drawings and also iges of a2 and a3 upper - everything you need.
