I just purchased a stock and noticed that the plastic nub that goes into the back of the reciever has a small circle in the center that looks like something like a plastic pin is broken off.  Is there supposed to be something coming out of the center of the nub or is it just a manufacturing finish flaw?

Pardon my ignorance, but are you talking about the nub on the stock that goes into the rear of the receiver or the takedown pin detent itself?

Ah...you're fine dude!  It's just a by-product of the molding process.  The detent spring actually sits to the side of that nub.
