What are you exactly asking? Are you trying to make a analogy?  Then the answer is yes. JVP is to LRB as CMT is to Stag.

I heard a rumor that they are all one and the same. I think it's false.  Maybe the source was confused since it's all in CT, but Im pretty sure that each manufacturer (jvp and cmt) mills their own.

jv doesnt do machining for cmt

stag and lrb are similiar in fit and finish.

i would rather go with jv/lrb because theyre made about a mile from my house and have my hometown on the side of the receiver

I don't think either lower is finished that well, i'm just inquiring as to corporate ownership, partnership, etc
