Not much to say, other than the Botach mount and a TL-3 LED are an inexpensive way to "light something up" as needed. The screw must be TIGHT to prevent slippage. No bulb to blow. And I think it looks at home next to the natural carbon fiber.

If you don't want to deal with Botach and are interested in using a std. 1" mount I have a ring insert that can be used.
As for the TL-3 LED itself, it's a good light with strong flood but if you prefer more throw then the new Surefire KL3 for the G2/6P/etc. is a good choice as well as the new Pelican M6 3w LED. Another favorite is the Surefire E2L which is really sweet due to it's small size & clickie tailcap. |
