I bought a regular A3 HBAR from Cal's Sporting Armory.

He was fast and very inexpensive.

They threw in a free 30-rounder to boot.

Happy hunting, I'm going to bed

aimsuplus has Bushy M4 type A3 patrolmans carbines at $819 in stock. Forget about that carbon crap and get one.

whats wrong with a carbon? I thought the concensus was that they are a good gun at a good weight?

Many people with newer carbons seem to have not many problems but overall they are known to be troublesome. For the tiny bit of weight you save over aluminum receivers it's just not worth it IMO. Plus you have no dust cover or forward assist. A regular M4 type rifle is the way to go. I have the Patrolman and it runs flawlessly.

I agree go with an aluminum receiver, but if you really want one try here.

made it hot for you. So there you go the Carbon M4 for $819 or the Patrolman for $819. It's up to you but the Patrolman is a more expensive rifle for the same price. They get $925 for the Patrolman and are sold out. Theres a reason the Carbons are in stock for over $100 less.

ah...forgot about the dust cover. Itll probably never see any harsh weather, but you never know right...its only about a pound anyway. I guess Ill just keep looking at the aluminum receivers.
