this might be a dumb question but i do i remove the collapsible stock  from the buffer tube. i bought it from the gun show this year for like 50$ and want to do some upgrading i think it is just a standerd mil-spec 6 pos stock

Pull down on the locking lever and slide the stock to the rear.

you bought the stock at a gun show for $50? make sure you know if it is a commercial diameter or military diameter tube before you upgrade. chances are you bought a commercial which limits your options for the upgrade.

ok i have never noticed any markings on it how would i go about finding that out
