hello,
 can anybody give me any feedback on the smith enterprises m16 bolts and boltcarriers?  i am doing a m16 slick side build and if i remember right smith ent was thought well of by some here thanks

Have no experience with their bolt/bc products, in fact didn't know that was their thing, but all their other products are first rate

All Smith Enterprises parts are high quality... You cant go wrong with any of thier products...

thanks guys if you look in the brownells catalog in the ar15 section they have for sale m16 bolt carriers and bolts mader by smith ent i think i will give them a try thanks hug.gif

WARNING:

Normally SE bolts and carriers are fine.  However, THE WORST CARRIER I ever owned, and still do, is the SE Chromed Match M16 carrier.  It has the worst tooling marks of any I have ever seen.  I got it through Brownells.  I was told they used DMPS carriers to make these.  Other owners of this variant tell me their's are like this too.

It's so nasty I am afraid to even run it in my uppers.  I keep it for show.  It is stamped with a 'D'.
