I saw something in a magazine about a short pull standard style buttstock for an ar15. This sounds good for the winter carbine match when you have many layers on. Does anyone have more info on this??? Thanks for any help, and good shooting

Sounds like they may have been referring to something similar to the RRA "Tactical Entry Stock" Check it out at the following address: http://www.rockriverarms.com/stock_&_grips2.htm Here it is on a rifle: http://www.rockriverarms.com/m4_entry_tactical.htm Also, you might look into getting an A1 buttstock instead of an A2 or fixed collapsible M4/CAR buttstock. Try this site for an A1: http://www.northridgeinc.com/ar15_m16.htm Look for part #: SN-622 Hope this helps. Drivie

Is this what you're looking for? I bought my last kit with one just to check it out. I can see using it in 3 gun matches or for CQB but it's not that fun to shoot for recreation. My nose is about 1/4" from the charging handle. The A-1 with an A-2 trap door may be the way to go for a shorter, but usable, stock.
