thinking about scoping up my 20" hbar, thing im worried about though is the fixed front sight. what size riser or what type of riser should i use? i've heard that it doesnt matter because the fixed sight would barely show up because the scope wouldnt be focused that close in. true? thanks

Very true. On my 20" SDM-R with 3-9x scope the FSB is invisible

+1.  Above 3X you won't even see the front sight post in the scope.  Just strive to get your cheek weld at a comfortable, natural height above the upper receiver.
