I put a new scope on my G3. It is a blazer 8x32x44 made by simmons. When I look out around 500 to 600 yards it is blurry and very bright. Has anyone else had simalure problems ? My first thought I might need a sun sheild tube but i'm not sure. It only does it when I zoom past 12x.

Does your scope have an adjustable objective lens?
I believe it should with that much power on the top end.Turn the objective lens to focus the scope and get rid of the blurred view.It also might be heat mirage.Yes, you also might need a sun shield.

typically scopes get darker as the magnification goes up.
