TIA for letting me know if I am on right track or it won't matter much.

Just starting with ARs. Have #1 Armalite M15 16" 1/9 twist barrel, iron sites; #1 Colt LE6920 16" 1/7 twist barrel using flat top with ACOG.

Shooting style:
Indoor 25 yards when weather is bad to keep in shape, muscle memory,eye/hand coordination:
Outdoor up to 300 yards whenever I can for real time rifle use.

So:
Load 55 grain-62 grain for Armalite shooting
Load 62 grain-??? for Colt shooting.

Does that pretty much sum it up for concentrating on getting the best groups and trying to to be consistant with shot placement rather than is it the Ammo?

Again my thanks.

Thanks.
Went back and reread.

Appears that M193 and M855 is what I should be looking for.

I have M855 but not sure if I have M193.

Which commercial brands are M193?

Sorry for the apparent ignorance.
