At work (in the Army) I sight in for POAPOI but for high power shooting I sight in 6 0'clock

POA/POI should be the same, cause bad guys dont stand at exactly 2, 3 and 600 yards with bullseyes on their chests.

I only do the 6 0'clock thing on the range because there is no real stress and I can take my time and place well aimed shots. I find it helps me shooting like this on the range... and like I said before... I shoot center mass in real life because I like to know EXACTLY where the round is going to hit... Does that make better sense?

At the range I shoot at the bottom of the target too. I just put my groups their instead of the bullseye. Works for me.

I actualy shoot center mass qualifying but in competition I set my sights different for 6 0'clock.

For a defensive weapon - aim at what you want to hit.

This means POA=POI.
