its for the magpul MOE trigger guard  Regular trigger guards had a part built in,  The MOE uses that screw to lock it in.

Possibly a set screw for the rear takedown detent modification.  In that mod the detent spring is held in place by tapping the spring channel to hold that set screw.  Or it's for a magpul type triggerguard.

That is the rule. Extra part(s)? New build. No exceptions.

way too long for the rear detent mod, that screw is 1/4" or less. Im guessing its for the triggerguard area.

Thanks every one !!  I think it is for the trigger guard but the screw is threaded and it doesn't look like there is threads in the trigger guard hole . It is a magpul trigger guard ....

Goes in the rear of the Magpul trigger guard.  IIRC it takes a 1/16" allen wrench and screw it it in until it is flush with the ear.

Nice job, the only minor issue that I see is that it looks like you have the castle nut on backwards.

Castle backward, looks like a NYS compliant lower, no pistol grip, LOL. Good luck with your build.

Don't give up so easy! First, the castle nut... specs call for it to be staked, if you don't do that Loc Tite would be a good idea (according to many here). If it's tight, it actually should be fine without.

Pics- if you have a smart phone, it's easy. First, download the free Photobucket app from the play store (apple store, or whatever source your phone uses for apps). Then, upload the pics to the Pb account. Next, simply select the pics and copy the tags generated (several choices appear, select the img ones and paste directly, or select the link and then click the pic button (to the right of the # button) below the post window. (I find it easiest to do the actual post from the computer, you'd need to log into your Pb account from it).
