Brand new upper by MSTN, never fired. Want to buy it or just the DD 7.0?

Can anyone show me a front 3/4 view of their DD M4 7.0? Someone told me they can get me a set from DD but they are not marked because they are sold to Bushmaster directly. Does this sound right? The Barrel Nut, Threaded Ring, he showed me a pic of looks different.

The one he showed me has 9 holes in the front, not 21 or so that i saw with a marked DD for sale.

Hey, Kisara, why are you selling the tube? Don't like it? How much you want for it, or the whole upper?

I know that YHM sells direct to Bushmaster, but I am not aware of DD doing so.

More than likely what this individual is selling is a YHM unit.

You sounds like your probably right. I need to find a front picture of it to see it its the same.

Any experience with YHM. I was told that LaRue or DD is the way to go for price and quality. Is the YHM free float?

Thanks for the help.

YHM makes a free float, and a 2 piece that replaces the stock handguards. I have the 2 piece, and it works OK, except the bottom half moves side to side, with the VFG attached. not alot, but enough to notice. I wouldn't mount a sight on it.

Hey Cap'n,

Thanks a lot for the compliment. I am sorry (and a little embarrassed) to say I no longer have or remember the details of that sling. I know I bought it here on the EE off of one of the better known dealers at the time but I bought it at least 6-8 month and have forgotten the details.

Basically it was a semi-custom deal where they took either a Blackhawk or CQB single point sling and added an HK style latch to it. Over all I like the HK style latch but the jury is out on the whole single point sling idea. Time will tell.

Correct me if I am wrong, but DD side rails are not to spec? How does this affect the user?
