Ouch. Just buy a used (or new) 6520 upper. That's what I did. If you don't have to have 1-7", you can get a pretty cheap barrel from one of the kit companies. |

i have a cmmg that is my favorite. 14.5 with permanent flash hider is about an inch shorter than a 16 with hider. i built the gun for lightweight and it's under 6 lbs.

If you can tolerate the 1-9" twist, J&T Distr. has a great price on Lightweight barrels.

i wish cmmg made the 16" lightweight... i don't want another permanent hider (i already have 2 14.5" with pinned FH. i was looking at the J&T barrels, what is their quality like? |
