The look on the wife or live in girlfriend will be priceless when she sees what you bought.  Trust me.

Nothing made by Marx ever looked like what it was supposed to be, trust me I have one of their old train sets...

Don't laugh too loud - I had one of these when I was a kid too....a long time ago.

Very noisy and, IIRC, the very front end (flash hider) reciprocated as the "rifle" was fired.

Oh, man; you guys just had to stir the memory pot, didn't you???

When I was just a lad (1950's), I had a "tommy gun" made of green plastic, styled after the Thompson but without a stock; the mag was integral and way too wide; the pistol grip was more 1911 than Thompson; and it had a red plastic thingie coming out of the barrel that I guess was supposed to be fire...Big mutha; I forget how it fired...crank on the side, maybe??? I dunno...

Don't know who made it or I'd start bidding on one...

Edit: Found one on eBay!!! It must be a later model than the one I had, as it's camouflage, not solid green...

More old memories...there was a toy tin M3 "grease gun", that had a wind-up ratcheting "key" on the side...Heavy, I think it shot caps...
