Hello, i am new to the forum, although i did some searches and did not find much.

i purchased a 16" bushmaster a3 and i am wanting to get an acog...

what is the preferable mounting situation? i assume the flat top of the gun....... do i need a raiser or something? I notice bushmaster makes a front handgard rail system that also extends onto the top rail to make it 1" higher........ should it be higher? Is the front sight going to be in the way?

Also what is the preferable or most popular acog?

Thanks a million

pretty much your whole ta31,ta11 lineup along with some of the compacts

different acogs for different setups, find whats best for you.

i have mine mounted to the flattop via larue throw lever mount. slight blur of the front sight only when you are looking for it other than that it shouldnt bother you.

I read somewhere that the Larue Compact ACOG mount is a little low. Is there any truth to this?
