it's finally done.
  Noveske 18" 6.8SPC Smith Vortex LMT Defender 2000 LMT SOPMOD LMT Bolt Carrier LMT (TD) Rail Panels DD A4 Upper DD Lite 12.0 LT SPR LT Bipod TROY BUIS NF NXS 3.5-15x50 Magpul MIAD C-Products 6.8 Mags I was shooting SSA 115gr sierra match kings... I took it out to test fire it... after i messed with some extractor problems (which i think is an out of wack extractor complicated by a crane o-ring and a high power spring)...  i wasn't really shooting for groups, just playing around

Awesome!
That's pretty much what I have in mind for my 6.8 carbine. Got the lower done and 3 mags. Just gotta' start on the upper half now. However, I keep getting confused about what I want.  I'd pretty well decided on an 19" middy and now I'm sold! Thanks!

Cool build!
 I am planning an almost exact copy of your build and was curious...How much does the whole package weigh, as pictured, without magazine? Also, is their enough room in between the scope & front buis to mount that sunshade? Thanks. |
