My next build will be a 16" mid-length/dissy.  I'm planning to cart it around (taken down) in a non-descript toolbox.  How long will the upper/barrel be and with which fh (I'll probably go with a Phantom)?  Thanks very much.

I have a RRA 16" middy with a Phantom C2.  It is 25 3/8" long.  That is from the button for the bolt to the tip of the Phantom.

Thanks for the replies.  Here's a tip: a 26" Stanley (Plano was same size) Heavy Duty plastic toolbox is NOT 26" long, inside or outside.  That 26" toolbox was a DIAGONAL measurement.  Who knew toolboxes were measured like TV's?  Thanks again.
