I just thought I share with you this 458 SOCOM Marty built for me.

I just received it a few days ago and have not been able to shoot it yet. I hope that on the weekend if the weather will clear up and it will no longer rain in buckets I will get to shoot it out back.

Marty if you read this I just wanted to thank you again for this awesome Upper you put together for me. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this built. I got more than just a t-shirt

- Magpul BAD Battery Assist Device Lever 
- Magpul UBR Utility/Battle Rifle Stock - OD Green
- Daniel Defense M4 Rail System - 9 mid-length
- Samson flip up FFS & FRS Sight
- Hollands Quick Dischagre Muzzle Brake - SS 3/4x28
- Barrel is a PacNor blank @ 11.5 inches long (break makes it 13.5 inches)
- Low profile Gas block (not sure who the makes is I did not ask Marty)

- Blue Force Gear - Combat Application Sling in Camo Green (Padded)

I am running a 2 point sling (Blue Force Gear - Combat Application Sling in Camo Green - Padded) and a Primary Arms Micro Dot.

The optic is not an Eotech or Aimpoint I know it is considered a cheap Optic but it will do the trick. May be down the road I will get one.

Nice rig. Why did you go with the 3/4 x 28 instead of the standard 5/8 x 24? Seems that will really limit your muzzle attachment options.

that is what Marty told me to get from Brownells - that was his recommendation for this built. I think because of the size of it

right now I am running 300gr. JHP from SBR. I will work my way to some other load later.
