Not sure how much time you got to spend with your beloveds before you lost them, but which butt(stock) did you like best?

Makes me wonder if "Mr. ATF on the interweb" ever gets a chuckle out of these stories... /wave

well, i got the UBR this morning, but unfortunately the accident happened before i was able to use it. however, i will say that it is HEAVY. i really liked the ACS; cheek weld is great and i love the way it looks. the MOE feels just like a stock M4 stock.

Lol... that's what I was thinking too.  That's a really shallow lake.  The deepest parts are like 30'.  So basically... you fail for not jumping in after them.  Any schmoe can free dive 30 feet... :)

Seriously though... sorry about the accident!  I hope you and your loved ones / friends / etc that were on the boat are fine!

This thread is useless without GPS coords... seriously... get your arse back there and find your weapons!

No, you're not missing anything. These posts were thought up by people who really do think that showing pics of their guns and claiming in one sentence that they had a "boating accident" that somehow they are creating a plausible deniability in the event "someone" comes to grab their guns from them.

It's retarded on many levels. So, by not "getting" it, you're actually doing yourself a favor. The idea that should someone be so irrational (and careless) enough to try and take a private citizens guns away would then be convinced by an internet post saying they were "lost" is a bigger fraud than the post itself. In these people's heads, there is no one holding full auto's to their family while they are being kicked in the teeth and having fingers broken whilst being "interviewed" about the location of their guns. In these people's heads, they are so self-important that they believe a special officer would be dispatched to being in their guns and that officer would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you don't know where your guns are, here is the internet post to prove it. Never mind, that if someone is demanding your guns, any other rights are already gone and nothing rational or civil could be expected to follow.

Honestly, it's beyond retarded. To the point where you just want to slap them for wasting the internet on that shit.

Jokes are funny. Like, that picture, that's funny. Because it's a kitty!

To be the one millionth person to post about boating accidents as a "joke" but really with a little intended action behind is unfunny. Then let people who aren't in on it comment to a fraudulent situation is also unfunny. Thus not a joke anymore. Let me know if you come up with some funny jokes though!

Nice guns.

Can we get a poll, funny or not funny? If so, I would vote funny.

Saying it's not funny is like saying you don't need a napkin in a dinner pic. At some point, people who have been here a while know you need a napkin in a dinner pic, and if they don't, they get it explained to them We don't just eliminate the napkin requirement because someone didn't know about it, and someone else didn't think that was fair, and that it's dumb anyway cuz we all wipe our hands on our pants.

In this area, anyone who loses a gun in a waterway is ditching it. Mineshafts are popular, guns bang off the old stolen cars dumped in, rattle past murder victims, then lodge in the mine cars or buckets just under the surface to be easily rediscovered by the local PD SCUBA team that can rappel past the hordes of wasps to get to them. Wetsuits are nice like that.

The poll should be for Retarded or not. Post pics to show them off, then claim they are MIA? Discretion being exercised correctly would imply never posting on an AR forum at all so no one has the intel you're even interested. There's a reason child porn collectors get caught, the AHJ does have a clue.

If the SHTF, all the AR owners are throwing down their guns and grabbing the first AK to use anyway, the BATF/others already have a warehouse full of decoy weapons to scatter in urban areas as bait. They'll just pick ours up.

Americans are so easily deceived, muahahahahah.

This thread has gotten even more funny!

First, we have the people who don't get the boating accident joke.

Second, we have the people who actually think the OP seriously believes that this gives him some sort of plausible deniability.

Thirdly, we have those pretending to be in the first group.

Fourthly, we have those that enjoyed the post and are laughing all around at the reactions.

That one person's picture thread has gone 46 posts and counting is testament to how funny knee-jerk reactionary Arfcommers really are!
