Figured I had to post some info about my newly built AR15. I spent a lot of time researching exactly what I wanted, and to be honest I think I could have spent weeks just learning about all the ways you can configure this gun =)

My first rifle as of 9/19/2005:

Bushmaster 14.5" M4 1:7 twist barrel w/perm. attached Vortex Flash hider
CMT flattop reciever
RRA bolt/bolt carrier/charging handle
Bushmaster XM15-E2S Assembled lower reciever+telescopic 6-position stock
YHM front flip up sight/gas block
Troy rear B.U.I.S.
Daniel Defense 7.0" free float quad rail
Eotech 552

Many thanks to Brett from PK Firearms and Bill from Cracker Boys Outdoors =)

Also pictured is the a Beretta 96g "Elite II" (.40 cal), which I got in the summer of 2002.

just went and put about 150 rounds through it with a friend..... didnt have a whole bunch of time to spend with it, but the eotech was nice to use and flipping up the irons cowitnessed perfectly through it.

will be sending some time this weekend zeroing it in then cleaning it. I've never actually spent time zeroing in a rifle before, should be fun =)

ah we'll see about a pistol grip... wasnt on my list of must-haves just yet. I dont know anyone who has anything but a stock bushy ar15, so I've never even used one. I spent enough money on this as it is -- got plenty of time to worry about other accessories.

thanks for the comments

Somewhere right now there is a solider or marine firing his weapon, and his A2 pistol grip is working just fine for him.

Looks good.

You definitely need more ammo and range time
