Can anyone recomend a brake / comp that resemble an A2 flash supressor? I have looked at Brownells and they have several from different makers ranging from $25 -70. I am looking for one that is threaded instead of the ones that lock on with 4 screws. Thanks!

I asked the same question a few days ago in the uppers/barrels forum. Here are the ones I've found that look decent...

EGW - a great looking piece that is an effective brake. They have models for 20" and 16" barrels. Look for USMC03's posts. A lot of his rifles wear these comps/brakes and you can hardly tell the difference. Here is a link to their site - http://www.egw-guns.com/egw.htm

Cav Arms has a nice looking one as well. Not sure if that is what you want, but check their site...

Fulton Armory sells what amounts to a barrel decoration that has no functional purpose other than look like a A2 hider. It is pressed on the end of the barrel...

Hope this helps!

I've got a CAV-Comp on my 14.5" upper. It works as great as it looks!
