What finish do manufacturers apply to AR magazines? i've seen rough feeling parkerizing like, and smooth silvery finish(Bushmaster) and why is it that old USGI mags have "gold" coloered underneath finish while new mags have silver color underneath finish? What is the finish of original USGI magazines by Parsons, COLT, etc.?how about the newly manufactured magazines by OK, NHMTG, BUSHMASTER, etc.

No such thing as a parkerized (spelling?) magazine for an AR, unless it's a steel one. Aluminum can't be parkerized, it must be anodized.
