how long can you store a fully loaded 30 round mag without weakening the spring?

I think the general consensus is a VERY long time.
What really wears out the spring is the cycling. I am sure however, that someone will be along shortly to say that you should only load 28 rounds to not damage the spring. Asking this question in the magazine forum might have the same result as asking the "9mm vs. .45" question in GD. |
