so I bought an m3x with the LED upgrade in the EE, looks great, but it doesn't work (no mention of issues)

1) Does Insight service these?  It is streamlight marked. I sent an email to insight/l3, and called and left a message.
YES its in the mail now (I must pay to repair though)
2) Does the m3x led (Factory) led head fit my old version?  (I wanted black, but its rare to find in the EE)  
Gonna find out, just bought a tan one in the EE


3)what is the correct sized butler creek blackout cap?

anyone know the butler creek cap size?  I will put a mic on it, but the most reliable way is to have a known good.

Hey, I can't answer your question.



For a Streamlight TLR, I used an aimpoint M4 cap



Maybe an idea to start a topic for future reference on what fits what?
