tactical handguard w/ 4 rails for the price/quality/heat dissipitation/ and any other feature for the $$$$$$? the slip-ons are the ones i'm looking for, not the one piece (cause i dont want to disasemble most of the upper to install)

looking at the yankee hill carbine 2 piece handguard; any other (brands, handguards) that i should look at also

trying to keep the price at less than $150

thanks all

In that price range I would look at the YHM you’ve mentioned or SF M73.
Check this tread and look at TNRonin’s review on both.

I'd recommend the YHM 4-rail handguards. Great price, very stable, and they git'r done! Of course, mine are FF, but from what I've heard, you can get the two-piece YHM's for under $100 and they're VERY similar to my setup.

(Edited to fix the picture)

The YHM 2-pc handguard is very good. Have one myself. Great value.

Think my next one for a new build will be the Troy.

alrighty thanks
by the way, can i install my heat shields in the 2 piece YMH?

I don't think you'd want to... the aluminum actually has a lot more openings to help with cooling. I've not done any full-auto firing on my M4, as it's only semi, but it seems to cool better with the YHM's than the standard handguards. Could be my imagination, though...

Im also loooking into this for my AR. I have a question though, with the four rail handguard installed on my AR can I mount a EOtech or Aimpoint right on the rail of the handguards? I have an A2 AR.

If it's freefloated you can (as far as I understand these things... ).

I say get the YHM 2-piece HG's They are the best deal for the money, they fit super tight and are very well made.

Definitely YHM for the money and Magpul for the panels.

YHM for the quality plus less money but the KAC pannels because they don't pop off rubbing against your equipment or belly. But..................Magpul for the stock.
