Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - looking for light mount for standard handguard

Currently have M3 Tactical Illuminator by Insight that is on pistol rail.
Only looking to moung a light on standard handguard for Armalite M15 and Colt LE 6920.
Trying to stay away from replacement of standard hanguard to a "rail" system.
If need to change to different light to fit mount will do so.

not sure if this is what you are looking for but I got this clamp from Bushmaster, has 3 rails and works great. Hasn't appeared to affect accuracy at all either.

There are simple M3 mounts available from GG&G & ITI that attach directly to your h.guards (requires two holes to be drilled) -




There front sight base mounts -




Under h.guard rail mounts (2" & 4" rails being the most common) -




And like shown by TX-Zen, the YHM triple rail mount (beware of knockoffs that are poor quality which easily break) -
