I have several bushy 1/9 twist uppers.
The Wal-mart Win 45gr jhp VARMINT are the most accurate of all the ammo I have tried at 50,100,200 yds.
I don't get any range time past 200 yd so I don't know out past that
Off sandbags I get about 1 1/4" ten shot groups at 100 yds with this stuff

I also have a 1/9 Armalite 16".   The 45 JHP WWbox are the most accurate round that I have used. except for 55 grain Balistic tip winchesters.

They do lose energy quickly after 200 yards.  I killed a doe last year at about 75 yards.  It was a neck shot, it shattered the spine and did alot of damage.   Of course she dropped like a rock.

I have been trying to find a heavier round for personal defense and hunting.  Let us know what you find and how it works for you.

On a calm day I have been able to maintain good accuracy to 300 yards and decent accuracy to 400 yards with the 45gr Wal-Mart JHP. Either way it was ringing the hell out of the 200, 300 and 400 gongs, simply a matter of all within the 1 MOA bull or merely on the gong.   This is out of a Bushmaster V-MATCH 20" with 1-9".

I have been very happy with this round.  The wind will take it for a ride at longer ranges, but it was predictable out to about 400 in a 6-12mph breeze.
