It kinda looks like it could move around since it is not directly attached to the barrel.
Anyone have one with any input?
And also, why doesnt anyone ever have one on their gun? All I ever see are larue, kac, samson, troy...

Thanks
Matt

I have one on my weapon, and have seen them on many others, to include military who are not alowed in some units to take the delta ring off. SIR's are very rugged as they attach to both the receiver and the barrel nut, and also suport the grenade launcher. There are three companies that each received contracts from the military for railed hand guards that met military requirerments, ARMS, KAC, and Daniel Defence.
Non of these three companies are advertisers on this sight.

ok, I think I will be getting the arms, because it is easy to install and has good customizability. its going to be on my home defense carbine. I will be building a middy next month and will be going with a larue rail.

very sturdy!

imo all of the arms' rails are sturdy/solid, they all mount to the upper reciever. you dont want a free-float mouting to the barrel, most mount to the barrel nut.

i doubt the arms will work with the troy buis without some modifications
